Preston Ellis is the Co-Founder and CTO of Axiom (YC W25), an Austin-based crypto trading platform that lets users trade any asset on any blockchain from a single account. Axiom reached $100M in revenue within four months of its January 2025 launch. Ellis studied computer engineering at UC San Diego, where he started Axiom, then began a master's in computer science at UC Berkeley and left in 2024 to go through Y Combinator. Before Axiom he interned as a software engineer at DoorDash.
